C & I Leasing Plc., a finance company licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria,
was incorporated on 28 December, 1990 to provide leasing and ancillary
services to companies, especially in the oil, gas and telecom sector. Assets
leased include
cars, trucks, cranes, barges, house boat, and other equipment. In addition
the company provides capacity utilisation finance, logistic support, and
other forms of trade finance for various companies. The company which is
wholly owned by a number of Nigerian institutional investors and individuals
commenced business in June 1991. The Company's shares were listed on the
Nigerian Stock Exchange in December 1997.
