Safeguarding the health and safety of employees,
customers and visitors of C&I LEASING PLC is a fundamental
concern of all levels of Management. The primary objective
of our HSE program is to identify and eliminate insofar as
reasonably possible, all health, safety and environmental
hazards. For all operations, the risk must be controlled by
limiting exposure to the hazards and by implementing
effective measures which will minimize the possibility of
injury, illness or disease and any form of environmental
degradation.
We believe that the successful accomplishment of our goals
depend to a large extent on the commitment of our work force
at all levels, competent staff and management systems plus
tools which reflect industry standards, requirements and
focus.
Our management system is based on acknowledged and
international standards such as ISO 9000:2000 and ISO 14000.
The corporate level of this management system defines
corporate expectations and system requirements which are to
be met by all our business units.
Our HSE management system gives room for continual

theory, competent staff best practice and best technology

It is Policy of C&I LEASING PLC to ensure that the medical
health, fitness and well-being of its employees is not
compromised due to reasons of their employment.
To this end, the management of C&I LEASING PLC will
undertake to:
Ensure that all employees engaged are fit and healthy, by
pre-employment medical screening.
Subscribe to the Health Insurance Scheme with Total Health
Trust (ThT) that takes care of the medical emergencies of
her workforce.
Provide First Aid administration and First aid Box at the
sites to be manned by professionals in first Aid
administration.
Conduct health surveillance and fitness for task
assessments.
Honor work-free leaves recommended by our retainer medical
Doctor for the employees, as may be warranted occasionally.
Develop and implement suitable contingency plans, for the
handling of Medical Emergencies
Carry out all medical certifications on staff as may be
requested by the client.
Carry out yearly review of the health status of employee.
The C&I LEASING PLC management shall also audit the
performance of the retainer clinic to ascertain quality of
service.
Safety
It is the policy of C&I LEASING PLC to use objective and
tested methods to prevent accidents in and out of our
projects all the time as we believe that all accidents are
preventable.
It is the policy provision for C&I LEASING PLC to ensure
that her entire employees, Sub-Contractors and all those
involved in her operations are always healthy, secured and
protected from hazards associated with the work and
environment.
For effective prevention of accidents, Job Safety Analysis
must be carried out for each operation and be effectively
communicated to the workers before and during the tool box
meetings.
Adequate PPE must be worn and all necessary safety signs
must be in place before commencement of any operation.
Full accident/incident investigations and reviews must be
carried out and learning points made known to the entire
workforce to avoid re-occurrence.
SAFETY is of mutual interest and requires co-operation of
the management and entire staff both of whom are equally
accountable for the attainment of this policy provisions.
The management reserves the right to revoke the services of
any of her employee or contractor who is considered to be a
violator of this policy provisions.
C&I LEASING PLC must ensure that competent persons are put
in place to man areas that are critical and prone to
accidents.
Periodic Safety audits must be conducted to ensure
compliance to safety rules and regulations.
Environment
C&I LEASING PLC is very conscious of her interest to
conserve the eco-system. It is therefore a basic priority
that all her operations be conducted in a manner which
ensures optimum protection of the environment.
It is therefore the policy of C&I LEASING PLC to
Maintain the appearance of C&I LEASING PLC premises and
facilities to the highest practical standard.
Avoid permanent harm, and minimise any temporary disturbance
to the local and global environment and to the quality of
life of the local communities in which C&I LEASING PLC
operates. Generally. C&I LEASING PLC will endeavour to be a
good neighbour and a responsible member of society.

statutory regulations.
Take positive steps to conserve resources, particularly
those which are scarce or non- renewable.

To complete periodic Environmental Audits of all sites to
ensure compliance with and continuous improvement of
operating standards.

safest, most efficient way and with a minimum disruption to
the environment.
Success of the company in this regard is measured by the
satisfaction of our clients and by earning an acceptable
return for our stockholders. The company has adopted the ISO
9001:2000 model for quality of its quality management
system.
The company believes quality improvement to be the
responsibility of management. In order to involve everyone
in quality improvement, management will enable all employees
to participate in the preparation, implementation and
evaluation of improvement activities.
Quality improvement will be a continuous process and will be
tackled and followed up in a systematic and planned manner.

The company will concentrate on its customers and suppliers,
both external and internal. Important suppliers will be
