C&I Marine shines at NSML performance recognition awards

C&I Marine, a division of C&I Leasing Plc, Nigeria’s leading business service conglomerate was honored in exceeding measure during the 2020 Performance Recognition and Awards organized by NLNG Ship Management Limited (NSML).

The award ceremony which held virtually on Friday, 26^th  March, 2021 is organized by NSML yearly to reward excellence in safety and service delivery by the various contractors who are in partnership with the organization.  

Featuring several categories including Contract Manager of the Year, Terminal Safety Man of the Year (Marine) , Most Energy Efficient Tugboat of the Year, and Vessel with Highest Number of Preventative Reports; C&I Marine’s Towage and Pilotage (SIFAX JV) team were named winners in all the categories in demonstration of their “contribution to the effective, safe and seamless running of the marine operations evidenced by effective management of assets, time, budget and personnel in line with the business’ commitment to HSE goal Zero.”

Commending the team for the well-deserved recognition, Andrew Otike-Odibi, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, C&I Leasing Plc said:

“Hearty congratulations to the entire C&I Marine team, the masters and crew of MV Chidiebube and MV Folashade, Able Seaman Uko Harry and Able Seaman James Adebisi who both bagged the Terminal Safety Man of the Year Award, not forgetting Sunny Udonsi, the Contract Manager who worked tirelessly behind the scenes.”

In his acceptance speech, Sunny Udonsi, Contract Manager at C&I Marine thanked the executive management for the opportunity to represent C&I Leasing Plc in delivering its goal zero mandate.
